Privacy Policy

Cricket Score Board Pro ("the App") is published by LazyCreation | Habibok. This policy explains what data the App handles.

Last updated: 6 October 2026 (rev. 2)

1. Data stored on your device

Match scores, team and player names, player photos and team logos you add, posters, comments, fixtures and settings are stored locally on your device. You can delete any of it from inside the App (delete match, delete team, delete photo) or by uninstalling the App.

2. Online sync (live scores)

When you score a match, the match data (scores, overs, team names, player names, jersey numbers and roles you enter) is uploaded to our online service (Supabase) so that friends can follow the match live through a link or a 6-letter match code, and so that live match lists work. Anyone who has the link or code can view that match. Photos stored on your phone are not uploaded by the Android app.

To make sure only you can change your own matches, the App creates a random anonymous key on your device. Only a one-way hash of this key is stored on our server. It is not linked to your name, phone number or e-mail, and the App has no accounts or sign-in. We also count how many people are watching a live match (an anonymous live count with no personal details).

This data is used only to provide the App's features and is not sold. It is sent over HTTPS.

3. Accounts and public player profiles (optional)

You can use the App without an account. If you choose to sign in, you enter your e-mail address and we send a 6-digit code to it. There is no password. Your e-mail address is used only to sign you in and to let you recover your own data on a new phone. It is never shown publicly and is not sold or shared. An e-mail delivery provider processes the address only to deliver the code.

When signed in you may create a public player profile for yourself or for a teammate: name, optional photo, playing role, batting and bowling style, jersey number, city and country, and a Player ID number. Match statistics (runs, wickets, catches and similar numbers) from completed matches in which the profile is linked to a player are shown on that profile. Anyone who has the profile link or Player ID can see it. Only the signed-in owner of a profile can edit or delete it, and the owner can hide any match from it.

You may also register a team (name, optional logo, squad list). Registered teams are public in the same way. Photos and logos you upload are stored in our storage service in a folder that only your account can write to.

Matches you score while signed in are linked to your account so that only you can change them, from any of your phones.

Phone number (optional): you may add a phone number (and say whether it has WhatsApp) in your account. It is private: only you and the App owner can see it, it is never shown on a profile and it is not shared. It is used only to contact you about your account, your teams or a reported problem. We do not send marketing messages to it.

Moderation: to keep the App fair and safe, the App owner can edit or remove public profiles, teams and matches that are offensive, fake or misleading, and can block accounts or phones that misuse the App.

4. Data we do not collect

The App does not collect your location, contacts, or financial information. Store orders are completed through WhatsApp, outside the App; the App does not process payments.

5. Third-party content

The News tab loads public headlines from third-party publishers (for example ESPNcricinfo, BBC Sport). Opening a headline takes you to the publisher's website, which has its own privacy policy. The App may use the rss2json service to read public feeds on the web version.

6. Advertising and sponsors

The App can show sponsor banners and occasional sponsor pop-ups (for example local businesses supporting a tournament). These are chosen by the App owner and loaded from our own service. They do not use your advertising ID, do not track you and do not use third-party ad networks. The scoring screen itself is kept free of third-party ads. If a third-party ad network (such as Google AdMob) is added in the future, this policy and the store listing will be updated first.

7. Children

The App is intended for general sports users and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights and deletion

You may request a copy or deletion of any data synced online (for example a match you published) by e-mailing us with the match code or link. We will delete it within 30 days. Local data is under your control at all times and is removed when you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.

Delete your account: in the App open More → Account → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your login, your contact details, your own player profile with its photo and statistics, your follows, claims and posts. Teams you registered, the profiles you created for other players and the matches you scored are not your personal data (they belong to those teams and players): they stay in the App and move to the App owner, who deletes them on request by e-mail. Steps and details are also on this page. If you cannot use the App, e-mail us from the address you signed in with and we will delete the account within 30 days.
